God Is Dog
A book, a film, a movement, music, and one very real dog.
What this world does
God Is Dog brings several connected creative projects into one place. Visitors can read the opening of a memoir-based book, step inside an actively developing animated film, hear The Holy Howlers, meet Lion Laguna, explore the Staying Project, play, gather, and find practical invitations to care for people and animals. The central idea is simple: dogs can be mirrors for the presence, loyalty, forgiveness, and uncomplicated love people often spend their lives trying to recover. It is not a formal religion. It is a playful, provocative creative understanding built around attention, relationship, and showing up for what is directly in front of us.
Who it is for
The universe is made for curious adults, families, artists, animal lovers, listeners, readers, and anyone interested in a gentler way of moving through the world. Some doors are funny and musical; others are personal, cinematic, or reflective. Together they invite people to begin with love without demanding a single way to belong. God Is Dog is built by Digital Rose around the lived story and creative work connected to Lion Laguna, a real black French bulldog and the heart of the wider project. The film’s impossible worlds are invented, while Lion, the ongoing production process, the music, the book, and the movement exist in the real world.
