Is this a documentary about a real person?
No. This is an original fictional film using documentary language: invented interviews, fictional archival evidence and conflicting witness accounts. It is not Craig’s biography, and the characters are not renamed versions of real relationships.
What is real?
Lion Laguna, the black French bulldog. His real identity and recognizable mannerisms are the anchor. His travel between worlds belongs to the fictional story.
Does Lion talk?
Not in this film. He is a dog, not a wisecracking narrator. People make speeches; Lion scratches at the door. Earlier talking-Lion concepts remain in the separate archive and are not the film’s canon.
How will it look and sound?
The creative direction is adult, painterly AI-assisted animation: recognizable behavior, impossible environments, documentary framing and a tactile, cinematic image. The score moves through intimate acoustic textures, electronic noise and purposeful silence. This describes the direction, not completed footage or released recordings.
Can I watch the film or a trailer?
The project is in development. The opening on this site is an interactive storyboard, not a finished trailer. There is no announced release date.
What happened to The Yard and The Holy Howlers?
